Antique Solid Silver Double Albert Watch or Neck Chain & Fob 22 & ½ inch Long Bir 1919

This one is a heavy antique sterling silver double Albert pocket watch chain with graduated curb links, a t-bar fob and working dog catches. Each link of the chain is hallmarked with the lion passant sterling silver mark. The bulls eye link is hallmarked Birmingham 1919. Both dog catches work well, and close tightly shut. One dog catch is hallmarked for sterling silver Birmingham 1919 with maker’s mark JS. The other dog catch has the maker’s mark Hp the date letter is perhaps 1911 (hard to read). The t-bar is hallmarked for sterling silver Birmingham 1919 maker’s mark JS. The fob is a sterling silver 1887 One Shilling coin. This watch chain is long enough to be worn as a necklace.

Weighs in at 101.5 grams approx.

Measurements: 22 & ½ inch long approx. Plus the extra 1 & ½ inches of chain links attached to the fob.

Condition: In excellent condition. This chain has been made from two watch chains. However they are an excellent match. Please see photos
